Anaesthesia and Intensive Care

Our Specialist Medical Training Program in the specialty of Anaesthesia and Intensive care is characterized by a cross-disciplinary professional approach and covers:

• Perioperative medicine,
• Anesthesia and pain management in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures,
• Intensive care,
• Emergency treatment of patients with serious illness or injury,
• Prehospital care and transport and catastrophe medicine, and
• Pain management.

The clinic has more than 1000 co-workers and has on-going research within anesthesiology and intensive care, acute and perioperative care and pain treatment in close cooperation with Lund University.

You will have great support on the way by a mentor from the clinic and our team at Skåne Care, for keeping you on track and strive to get your specialist certificate in appointed time.
