Through our specialist medical training program in Rheumatology you will become a competent medical specialist in etiology, immunology, pathology and a specialist in examination, diagnostic, treatment, evaluation and follow-up on acute and chronic inflammatory joint- and spine diseases, inflammatory system diseases and vasculitis.

You will learn how to work in a cross-professional environment at our EULAR Center of Excellence in Rheumatology. The clinic has about 140 co-workers including 35 doctors and 10 doctors under specialist medical training.

Rheumatology is a research-intensive area and the clinic has on-going clinical research on many diagnostic groups. Main body of all doctors are active in one or more research activities and the clinic also pursue research in epidemiology and nursing where nurses, physical-and environmental therapists and welfare workers participates.

You will have great support on the way by a mentor from the clinic and our team at Skåne Care, for keeping you on track and strive to get your specialist certificate in appointed time.
