Oncology

The oncology section is a part of hematology and radiation physics department at Skåne University Hospital. The hematology section is one of the national centers for coagulation diseases and the regional cancer treatment center. The Radiotherapy section is a referral centre for around 4500 patients per year and is the first Scandinavian facility to install TomoTherapy HiArt System, which is available together with brachytherapy and isotope treatment.

Through the specialist training program, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team and get access to a cutting-edge expertise, international research and modern technology. Throughout the program, you will have support from mentor at the clinic and our team at Skåne Care, for keeping you on track and strive to get your specialist certificate in appointed time.
