Psychiatry Skåne offers assessment, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation within a wide range of diagnoses. Through our clinical psychiatric research centre, we integrate high-quality care with clinical research at Lund University. Our approximately 3,000 staff include a team of experts, many of whom are prominent researchers in specialised fields, such as suicidology, psychoimmunology, addiction and epidemiology.

A successful example of our multidisciplinary approach is Lund University’s Centre for Evidence-based Psychosocial Interventions (CEPI). A Centre of Excellence, awarded by the Swedish Research Council, it performs research on subjects such as psychosocial interventions and living conditions for people with severe mental illness.
