Endodontics

As a specialist training dentist in the speciality of endodontics you will get in-depth knowledge within investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients who have diseases of or changes in the dental pulp or periradicular tissue. This speciality offers treatment for patients that requires advanced endodontic treatment.  

The field of competence includes: 

• advanced knowledge of the etiology and diagnosis of pathological conditions of the dental pulp and the periradicular tissue, 
• knowledge of the connection between pathological conditions of the dental pulp, pathological conditions of the periradicular tissue and general health, 
• investigation of acute and chronic pain in orofacial tissue,  

• treatment in case of infectious or inflammatory conditions of the dental pulp or the periradicular tissue.
